Healing from Katrina

Healing for the People of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast   Peace and much Love! The divinity in me, salutes the divinity in you!   On this second anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the devastation it caused the people of the Gulf Coast, especially New Orleans, it’s important for us to remember that many people are still having challenges recovering from this national tragedy. This is a "remix" to a piece I wrote during that time, I pray that someone is enlightened, inspired and empowered by it!   We are hurt, saddened and confused by what is happening to our people in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. As we seek answers, we must never forget that God is still in control. However, as "sons and daughters of the most high", now is our opportunity to show the world who we are! Most of us have donated money, time and resources to help our people who are victims of Hurricane Katrina recover and live their lives in peace and dignity. We have the ability to turn this tragic situation, into a triumphant victory of human spirit through our thoughts, words and actions. Go deep within yourself to find, "the courage to change the things you can...", word!   Along with whatever you are currently doing, here are Minister Server's Seven (7) Suggestions to what YOU can do to help our people affected by Hurricane Katrina: Keep God first in your positive thoughts and prayers for the people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. They need the vibration of our LOVE energy to move forward in their lives now more than ever, let your heart guide you! Be HIPHOP, a Humble Intuitive Person Helping Our Problems! Give as much of whatever you can, money, time, resources, EVERYTHING is needed, let us remember to, "love our neighbors, as we love ourselves"! Write, call and email your local, state and Federal government officials, they MUST be held accountable to find out what went wrong, what they need to do to fix it and to vow that this will NEVER happen again! Don't allow frustration, anger, outrage and prejudice of others to distract you from helping with SOLUTIONS to help fix this national tragedy. There are enough people placing blame already, now is the time for healing! Use this situation to begin a REAL national dialogue with local, state and Federal politicians, clergy and people about issues of leadership, race, class, security and the true "rights" of American citizens! Get involved with organizations that are committed to helping to rebuild the spiritual, mental and physical lives of the people in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. This work is going to take ALL of us working together beyond the boundaries of race, gender, class, age, religion, etc.! Count your blessings, respect and appreciate the LIFE of you and your loved ones. None of us know when we may return to Spirit, let us remember that God is LOVE, which is the most healing, harmonizing power in the universe, share it EVERY opportunity you get! PRAYER: In the name of the Most High God, known by many different attributes and with true believers that is never a dispute! We know there is ONE power, ONE presence and ONE intelligence that governs this entire Universe, the spirit of immortality within us!   We give thanks for being right here, right now, in our perfect spiritual, mental and physical manifestation! God, we call forward your mercy, love and compassion for all the people and their families affected by this national tragedy in New Orleans and along the Gulf Coast. God, we know that You are in control and Your divine plan for us is STILL unfolding even in the midst of these tragic appearances. We send our sincere prayers and condolences to the families and communities with loved ones that have passed on. We are comforted in KNOWING that they have returned to God's loving presence and we give thanks!   God, allow US to manifest supernatural miracles as we help rebuild the people and communities, spiritually, economically, mentally and physically. We are reminded that we are ONE human family and we will remember to "love our neighbors, as we love ourselves". We give thanks for knowing that even in the appearance of destruction, You are ALWAYS creating a better way of life for us!
